Title:
PRODUCTION METHOD FOR POLYISOPRENOID, VECTOR, TRANSGENIC PLANT, PRODUCTION METHOD FOR PNEUMATIC TIRE, AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR RUBBER PRODUCT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/002818
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method that is for producing a polyisoprenoid, that augments the rubber-synthesis activity of rubber particles, and that makes it possible to increase production of natural rubber. The present invention is a method that is for producing a polyisoprenoid in vitro, that uses a gene that codes for a protein in the cis-prenyltransferase (CPT) family and a gene that codes for a protein in the Nogo-B receptor (NgBR) family, and that uses rubber particles to which are bound the proteins for which the genes code. In the method for producing the isoprenoid, a vector wherein a gene that codes for a protein in the CPT family and a gene that codes for a protein in the NgBR family have been bound to a promoter that promotes latex-vessel-specific gene expression is introduced into a plant and latex-vessel-specific expression of the proteins for which the genes code is induced.
