Abstract:
Provided is a method for efficiently producing a protease of the M23A family. This method is for producing a protease of the M23A family, and comprises culturing a bacterium of the genus Bacillus into which a polynucleotide encoding a pro-protein of the protease of the M23A family has been introduced, and thereby producing a mature form of the protease of the M23A family outside the cells of the bacterium of the genus Bacillus.
