Abstract:
The present invention relates to a production method for silk wadding using ball fibre and to the silk wadding produced, and more specifically relates to a production method for silk wadding using ball fibre of which the resilience and restoring force have been improved by the mixing, heating and compression of ball fibres, that have been produced using short staple fibre made of high-melting polyester, and low-melting short staple fibre, and also relates to the silk wadding produced. In the present invention, the production takes place by carrying out the following processes in sequence: a first mixing process (S100) involving the mixing of short staple fibre (10) made of polyester and low-melting short staple fibre (20); a ball-fibre-forming process (S200) involving the formation of ball fibers (30) which have a predetermined size and are formed entwined as spheres, using the short staple fibre (10) and the low-melting short staple fibre (20) that were mixed in the first mixing process (S100); a layering process (S300) in which the ball fibers (30) formed in the ball-fibre-forming process (S200) are layered in a sheet shape so as to have a fixed thickness; and a compression process (S400) in which the layered material obtained by layering into a web form in the layering process (S300) is formed to a predetermined thickness by compression.
