Abstract:
This production method for a glass substrate that is thinned by etching is characterized by comprising: a step in which a composition comprising a resin that is obtained by reacting a polyol (a1) having a main component (A) that is selected from among polybutadiene polyol, hydrogenated polybutadiene polyol, polyisoprene polyol, and hydrogenated polyisoprene polyol with a crosslinking agent (a2) is applied to the outer peripheral surface of a glass panel to form an outer peripheral seal; and a step in which etching is performed to make the resulting glass panel thinner.
