Abstract:
A production planning device (100) comprises a resource information acquiring unit for acquiring resource information including a production capacity indicating a number of workpieces that can be processed in parallel by each production facility, an order information acquiring unit for acquiring a plurality of items of order information, each including a product, a required quantity, and a delivery date, and a production plan generating unit (125) for allocating a processing period to the production facilities for each item of order information on the basis of the acquired order information and resource information, and drafting a production plan with which the required quantity can be produced in compliance with the delivery dates, wherein, when drafting the production plan for certain order information, if, in a period in which processing in accordance with the production plan for another item of order information has already been allocated to a certain production facility, the quantity of workpieces to be processed in parallel that have already been allocated is less than the production capacity of said production facility, the production plan generating unit (125) generates the production plan by allocating the processing in accordance with the order information for which the production plan is to be drafted.
