Abstract:
A production process for controlling adhesive flow-out of copper-clad laminates, and supporting devices. In the process, during conventional prepreg production, a meridional edge covering process and a latitudinal edge covering process are additionally used. A fiber spraying edge covering method is used for each edge covering process. There are two fiber spraying edge covering methods. One of the methods is a hot melting fiber spraying edge covering method, comprising: heating an edge of a prepreg to melt the resin; spraying a fiber mixture to the melt area so that the fiber mixture adheres to the melt area; and performing flattening and deburring to make the thickness uniform and the edge smooth. The other is a fiber spraying hot-pressing edge covering method, comprising: directly spraying a fiber mixture to an edge of a prepreg; and pressing the fiber mixture into resin at the edge of the prepreg by means of an electrically heated roller to complete edge covering. Also provided are two supporting devices corresponding to the two methods. The methods and supporting devices are applicable to continuous and efficient edge covering of prepregs on a prepreg production line, thereby avoiding adhesive flow-out of copper-clad laminates during pressing.
