Abstract:
A production system (1) comprises: a plurality of automated work devices (20) that perform work on at least one production device (100); and a management device (10) that manages the work by issuing work instructions to the automated work devices (20). The management device (10) monitors the battery residual quantity of each of the automated work devices (20), and checks if the instructed work can be completed on the basis of the recognized battery residual quantity. When there is an automated work device that is determined to be unable to complete the work due to having insufficient residual quantity, the management device searches for an automated work device (20) having sufficient battery residual quantity that is capable of completing the work. When there is an automated work device (20) that has sufficient residual quantity, the management device issues an instruction for work details, which has been issued to the automated work device (20) that has insufficient residual quantity, to the automated work device (20) that has sufficient residual quantity, and causes the automated work device (20) that has sufficient residual quantity to take over the work.
