Abstract:
Each switchblade receives, from a CPU server which is a destination whereto a VM to be moved is moved, a request for setting port profile information corresponding to the VM. Then, each switchblade assesses whether a VSIID which is included in the received request for setting is stored in a storage unit wherein a VSIID which identifies a VM is stored. Next, if it is assessed that the received VSIID is stored in the storage unit, each switchblade executes a process according to the request for setting. Furthermore, if it is assessed that the received VSIID is not stored in the storage unit, each switchblade transfers the request for setting, via the device which is connected to the destination CPU server, to an external switch which is a higher order data relay device.
