Abstract:
The invention relates to a profiled strip for pieces of furniture, comprising at least one functional layer, by means of which the profiled strip can be adhesively affixed, for example, to a narrow side of a furniture panel. The aim of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the known prior art and to present a profiled strip for pieces of furniture that can be produced economically and at low cost and that can be adhesively affixed, regardless of the material of a piece of furniture, to at least one narrow side in such a way that no joints are visible. Said aim is achieved in that the functional layer contains polar and/or reactive groups in the molecular structure, wherein the functional layer at least partially has a structured surface having an average surface roughness Rz of 10 to 120 μm, preferably 25 to 100 μm, and an absorptance for laser light of at least 0.25.
