Abstract:
A program dividing device (100) is provided with a first receiving unit (23), a second receiving unit (13), a point detecting unit (19), and a point correcting unit (21). The first receiving unit (23) receives first video data indicating a program video. The second receiving unit (13) receives second video data generated by compressing the first video data. The second video data includes point information indicating a point at which the video is to be divided. The point detecting unit (19) extracts the point information from the second video data. Further, the point detecting unit (19) outputs second division point information generated on the basis of the point information. The point correcting unit (21) corrects the second division point information by using the first video data. Further, the point correcting unit (21) generates first division point information indicating a division point in the first video data.
