Abstract:
A program execution device (100) that executes a program having a plurality of operation modes for implementing different steps in a production line comprises: a counting unit (130) that counts, for each of the plurality of operation mode, the frequency of access to a storage device when the program is executed, for each piece of data being accessed; a reception unit (110) that receives specification of a program operation mode and an instruction to execute the program; a storage unit (150) that, in the specified operation mode, stores data in order of highest frequency counted by the counting unit (130), in a cache (160); and an execution unit (120) that, when an instruction is received, browses data stored in the cache (160) by the storage unit (150) and executes the program in the specified operation mode.
