Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce user abandonment resulting from clearing a game in one try. The present invention is a program for causing a computer to function as: a game control means that controls the advancement of a game played by a user at each game stage on the basis of a user operation, the game control means ending the game if the user has cleared a game stage, forcibly ending the game midway through if the user is unable to clear a game stage, and causing the game to continue on the game stage that could not be cleared after forcibly ending the game midway through; and a difficulty control means that raises the difficulty so that it will be difficult for a user to clear a game stage if the user has continuously cleared the game stage a prescribed number of times without continuing.
