Abstract:
Provided is a program with which it is possible for a GUI object to be displayed appropriately to a user in a virtual reality space. This program is executed in a processing device which performs a process to render a virtual space including a prescribed GUI object, displayed on a display unit of a head mounted display device, wherein the program causes the processing device to execute: a step of determining a user viewpoint position in the virtual space on the basis of the position of the head mounted display device in real space; a step of determining a range of movement of the user in the virtual space; a step of determining the position of the GUI object in a virtual space region outside the determined range of movement; a step of using a perspective characteristic profile to determine the size of the GUI object in the virtual space such that the GUI object in the determined position has a fixed display size on the display unit; and a step of generating rending data for the virtual space including the GUI object.
