Abstract:
The present invention provides a program optimization device that improves the efficiency of a machining program for a numerical control device, wherein the program optimization device: acquires the machining program; stores classification information that classifies commands included in the machining program into executable commands, non-executable commands, and rotation speed commands; classifies, on the basis of the classification information, blocks of the machining program into executable blocks including executable commands, non-executable blocks including non-executable commands, and rotation speed command blocks including rotation speed commands; and, if an executable block in the machining program exists upstream of a rotation speed command block, determines a position upstream of the executable block as an insertion position for the rotation speed command block, and inserts the rotation speed command block at the insertion position.
