Abstract:
Disclosed are a program recommendation method and device for a smart television. The method comprises: acquiring data of a program being played and data of a current user; according to the program being played, acquiring a program related to the program being played, and according to the data of the current user, acquiring a program recommended to the current user; and loading information describing the related program and/or information describing the program recommended to the current user in video data of the program being played, so as to display the information describing the related program and/or the information describing the program recommended to the current user in a playing picture of the program being played. The program recommendation method and device for a smart television of the present application can increase the watching efficiency of a user of the smart television, thereby improving the user experience of the smart television.
