Abstract:
It is possible to recommend a program in accordance with a particular user while excluding
a program having a high preference in general. A reservation information reception
unit (230) of a program recommendation server (3) receives reservation information
transmitted by a program view terminal. A reservation information DB (235)
stores reservation information for each of users. A community reservation information
statistic unit (236) groups users into a first group according to the received
reservation information and the reservation information stored for each of
the users. An all-user reservation information statistic unit (237) groups
the users into a second group including the first group. A recommended program
creation unit (239) generates recommendation information unique to the first
group according to the total result of the reservation information on the users
belonging to the first group and the total result of the reservation information
on the users belonging to the second group. A recommendation transmission unit
(240) transmits the recommended information to a program view terminal. The
program view terminal reproduces a program according to the recommendation information.
