Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a program updating method and a program updating apparatus. The program updating method comprises: starting a first boot loader from a first storage area of a memory, the memory further comprising a second storage area and a third storage area, the second storage area being in an inactive state, and the third storage area being in an active state; in the presence of a program updating task, storing a first application corresponding to the updating task into the second storage area by means of the first boot loader; executing a storage area state configuration operation by means of the first boot loader, so that the second storage area is in an active state and the third storage area is in an inactive state; and starting the first application by means of the first boot loader. By means of the program updating method provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the security of program updating can be improved.
