Abstract:
This programmable display is provided with: a device connection unit (10) that is to be connected to an external connection device (1); a storage medium connection unit (40) that is to be connected to an external storage medium (3); and a control unit (50) that controls the operations of the device connection unit (10) and the storage medium connection unit (40), sets an access limit on the external connection device (1), generates a release key for releasing the access limit on the external connection device (1) on the basis of unique management information stored in the storage medium (3), determines whether or not there is a match between the generated release key and a preset authentication key, and releases the access limit when there is a match between the release key and the authentication key.
