Abstract:
Provided is a programming circuit for writing data to a variable-resistance nonvolatile element. The programming circuit is provided with a load capacity between a ground potential and a ground-side terminal of a variable-resistance nonvolatile element, and when the electric resistance of the variable-resistance nonvolatile element is changed, the programming circuit feeds an electric current with a waveform having overshoot, including inrush electric current generated for charging the load capacity, to the variable-resistance nonvolatile element.
