Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent the conveyance of a sheet steel strip from being hindered by a lifter for raising the sheet steel strip in a progressive die. [Solution] A progressive die 1 is provided with a plurality of stages I to VII in each of which die-cut processing is performed on a sheet steel strip F. The plurality of stages I to VII include an outer shape die-cut stage VI in which an outer shape Db of a thin sheet piece W is die-cut. The outer shape die-cut stage VI includes an outer shape die-cut punch 24 and an outer shape die-cut die 46. The outer shape die-cut stage and at least one stage adjacent thereto are provided with one or more lifters 63 to 66 that raise the sheet steel strip F from the surface of the outer shape die-cut die 46. The length of at least one of the lifters 63 to 66 in the conveyance direction is greater than the length in the conveyance direction of a largest opening among a plurality of openings that are formed in the sheet steel strip F by the die-cut processing in stages other than the outer shape die-cut stage VI.
