Abstract:
A cabinet is provided for a projection device having a rectangular screen (200) and
an optical engine (300) which projects an image on a rear side of the screen (200)
from below. The cabinet is a screen frame (100) which holds the four sides of the
screen (200). The cabinet is provided with at least the screen frame (100) having
an upper side frame (1) for holding an upper side of the screen (200); a bottom plate
(9) for holding the optical engine (300), with its one end attached to the screen
frame (100); and a reinforcing stay (10b) for connecting the upper side frame
(1) of the screen frame (100) with the other end of the bottom plate (9), along the
outline of a beam (18a) projected on the screen (200).
