Abstract:
Provided in some embodiments of the present application are a projection device and a display control method. In the method, after an automatic focusing instruction is received, the spacing distance between an optical engine and a projection surface can be acquired by means of a distance sensor; then, the current application scenario is determined according to the spacing distance, and if the spacing distance is less than a spacing judgement threshold value, it is determined that the current application scenario is a close-proximity scenario, such that a first focusing amount can be calculated according to the spacing distance; if the spacing distance is greater than or equal to the spacing judgement threshold value, it is determined that the current application scenario is a distant scenario, such that a second focusing amount can be calculated according to the definition of a projection content image; and finally, according to the first focusing amount or the second focusing amount, a drive motor is controlled to adjust the focal length of an optical module. By means of the method, automatic focusing can be performed on the basis of different data and according to different application scenarios, an optical module can be rapidly adjusted to be in an optimal focal length state, the definition of a projection picture can be improved, and the time consumed by the focusing process can be shortened.
