Abstract:

A projection image pickup device (100) is provided with a pulsed light emitting unit (102), an optical sensor unit (104), a reference timing generation unit (108) that generates operation reference timing, a control unit (110), and a signal operation unit (106). The signal operation unit (106) sets, as a first differential signal, a differential signal between an output signal transmitted from the optical sensor unit (104) during a second exposure period, and an output signal transmitted from the optical sensor unit (104) during a first exposure period, and sets, as a second differential signal, a differential signal between an output signal transmitted from the optical sensor unit (104) during a third exposure period, and an output signal transmitted from the optical sensor unit (104) during the first exposure period, then, outputs the sum of at least two differential signals, including the first differential signal and the second differential signal.
