Abstract:
This projection lens system projects an image on the reduction side on which back glass is disposed to the magnification side in an image projection device. In the projection lens system, in a surface on the reduction side or a surface on the magnification side, all negative lenses satisfying a condition |h/H|‹2.0, where h denotes the height of a main light beam of an outermost axis and H denotes the height of an on-axis light beam passing through the highest pupil position, satisfy conditions of Tn≥98.5% and Dn/Db≤0.05, where Tn denotes transmittance, Dn denotes the on-axis thickness of each negative lens, and Db denotes the total thickness of the back glass.
