Abstract:
One of the purposes of the present invention is to provide a high quality projection lens that can be manufactured at a low cost, and a vehicle lamp fitting that is provided with the projection lens.
A projection lens (11) formed of a resin having light transmitting characteristics has: an input section (12) having light inputted thereto; an output section (13) having the light outputted therefrom, said light having been inputted from the input section (12); a peripheral end section (14) that is provided at a boundary between the input section (12) and the output section (13); and a thick section (15), which is provided at a part of the peripheral end section (14), and which is made thicker in the optical axis direction than other parts of the peripheral end section (14), said thick section having a gate mark formed at least on a part of an outer peripheral surface.
