A projection screen (10) and a projection system using the same. The projection screen (10) comprises a surface microstructure layer (14), a light diffusion layer (13) and a light reflection layer (12) arranged sequentially from an incident side of a projected light, wherein the light reflection layer (12) is used for reflecting an incident projected light into the range of a field of view of a viewer, the light diffusion layer (13) is used for increasing a divergence angle of an emergent light, and the surface microstructure layer (14) comprises a plurality of surface microstructure units. The plurality of surface microstructure units is arranged periodically in a plane of the projection screen (10) in a line-symmetrical manner with respect to a vertical central axis of the projection screen (10). Each surface microstructure unit comprises a first oblique surface and a second oblique surface intersecting each other. Due to the angular selective property of the microstructure unit, at least part of lights coming from the projector (20) is reflected while ambient stray lights are substantially not reflected towards a viewing area of a viewer, and therefore a strong resistance to ambient stray lights and an increased contrast of an image are provided.
