Abstract:

A projection system (1) is equipped with an invisible light projection unit (3), a background member (10), an imaging unit (4), an image generation unit (50), and a visible light projection unit (2). The invisible light projection unit projects a prescribed invisible light image onto an object using invisible light. The background member is positioned to the rear of the object in the direction in which the invisible light is emitted from the invisible light projection unit. The imaging unit captures the invisible light image projected by the invisible light projection unit. The image generation unit measures the shape of the object on the basis of the captured image captured by the imaging unit, and generates image data that represents the image projected onto the object, according to the measurement results. The visible light projection unit projects the image represented by the image data onto the object using visible light. The background member has a blocking surface (10a) for blocking the scattering and reflection of the invisible light when the invisible light is incident thereon.
