Abstract:
A projection system (10). The projection system (10) comprises a light source device (12), a light homogenizing system (13), a light modulation system (14) and a light recycling system (16). The light source device (12) is used for emitting a first primary light, a second primary light and a third primary light. The light homogenizing system (13) performs homogenization on the first primary light, the second primary light and the third primary light and emits same. The light modulation system (14) modulates, according to the image data of the image to be displayed, the homogenized light emitted from the light homogenizing system (13), and forms an image light for displaying the image and a non-image light for not displaying the image. The light recycling system (16) guides the non-image light to the light homogenizing system (13), so as to enable the non-image light to be homogenized by the light homogenizing system (13) and then to be emitted. The light recycling system (16) is used to re-guide the non-image light to the light incident surface of the light homogenizing system (13), so that the non-image light with the primary light emitted from the light source device (12) enter, after being homogenized by the light homogenizing system (13), the light modulation system (14) again, efficiently improving the light utilization rate and the brightness and contrast of the display image.
