Abstract:
Provided are a projection-type display device and a projection control method which make it possible to accurately present information to a vehicle operator, even in a state where image light projected onto a projection surface is being blocked by an object. When a head-up display (HUD) (10), which is mounted on a construction machine (100) that has a windshield (5), detects that image light being projected onto the windshield (5) is being blocked by an object, the HUD (10) gives notice of such blockage.
