Abstract:
Provided are a projection-type display device, a projection display method, and a projection display program that can make a driver of a vehicle aware of necessary information without being an impediment to the driver. An HUD 100 that comprises: a projection display unit that, on the basis of inputted image data, spatially modulates light emitted from light sources (41r, 41g, 41b) and projects image light obtained by means of the spatial modulation onto a projection surface 2 so as to display an image that is based on the image data; and a system control unit 60 that inputs, to the projection display unit, image data that includes warning information, determines, when an image based on the image data that includes the warning information has been displayed by the projection display unit, whether a driver has acknowledged the warning information, and, when it has been determined that the warning information has been acknowledged by the driver, inputs, to the projection display unit, image data from which the warning information has been removed.
