Abstract:
In the present invention, a laser beam (L50) generated by a laser light source (50) is reflected by a light beam scanning device (60) and irradiated onto a hologram recording medium (45). In the hologram recording medium (45), images of the scattering plate (35) are recorded as holograms, using a reference light converging at a scanning base point (B). The light beam scanning device (60) bends the laser beam (L50) at the scanning base point (B) and irradiates the laser beam onto the hologram recording medium (45). At this timing scanning is performed, so that the embodiment of the bending of the laser beam is temporally altered, and that the irradiation position of the bent laser beam (L60) in relation to the hologram recording medium (45) is temporally altered. Irrespective of the irradiation position of the beam, the diffracted light (L45) from the hologram recording medium (45) generates a reproduced image of the scattering plate (35) onto the spatial optical modulator (200). The modulated footage on the spatial optical modulator (200) is projected onto a screen (400) by the projection optical system (300).
