Abstract:
Provided is a projector for projecting an image to a subject to which the image is to be projected, by using light emitted from a light source lamp. The projector is provided with a light control sensor, which measures a projection distance to the subject to which the image is to be projected, and a quantity of reflection light from the subject; a zoom position sensor for detecting a zoom ratio; and a control section, which fixes luminance of the projection image displayed on the subject, by adjusting the light emitting quantity of the light source lamp, based on the measured projection distance and a measured reflection light quantity measured by the light control sensor, and on the detected zoom ratio detected by the zoom position sensor.
