Abstract:
Disclosed is an agent for promoting the regeneration of a tendon-bone junction tissue or a ligament-bone junction tissue.  Specifically disclosed is a promoter for the regeneration of a tendon-bone junction tissue or a ligament-bone junction tissue, which is characterized by comprising the following component (1) or (2) as an active ingredient. (1) A component selected from the following items (1-a), (1-b) and (1-c): (1-a) an HGF protein; (1-b) a partial peptide of an HGF protein, wherein the peptide has an activity to promote the regeneration of a tendon-bone junction tissue or a ligament-bone junction tissue; and (1-c) a salt of the component (1-a) or (1-b). (2) DNA comprising a component selected from the following items (2-a), (2-b) and (2-c): (2-a) DNA encoding an HGF protein; (2-b) DNA encoding a partial peptide of an HGF protein, wherein the peptide has an activity to promote the regeneration of a tendon-bone junction tissue or a ligament-bone junction tissue; and (2-c) DNA which can hybridize with DNA comprising a nucleotide sequence complementary to DNA (2-a) or (2-b) under stringent conditions and encodes a protein or peptide having an activity to promote the regeneration of a tendon-bone junction tissue or a ligament-bone junction tissue.
