Abstract:
Provided is a prompt method. The method is applied to a portable device that is attached to a magnetic-type bracket. The method comprises: a display screen of a portable device being in a turned-off state; and the portable device detecting that a parameter related to magnetic induction intensity deviates from a pre-set threshold value range, turning on the display screen of the portable device when, before or after a voice prompt is output, and displaying, on the display screen, prompt information about a mobile portable device. By means of the method, a user can know, in a timely manner, that the attachment of a portable device to a magnetic-type bracket is in an unstable state, and move the portable device according to prompt information, so that the portable device can be stably attached to the magnetic-type bracket, thereby effectively preventing the portable device from slipping off the magnetic-type bracket.
