Abstract:
A prompting method for automatic temperature control of a water heater and a water heater. The method comprises: recording a water temperature lasting at a certain threshold value at a specific indoor temperature (S101); when a ratio of the number of times the water temperature lasted at the certain threshold value at a specific indoor temperature to the number of times other water temperatures lasted at a certain threshold value at the specific indoor temperature is greater than a certain threshold value, setting the water temperature lasting at the certain threshold value at the specific indoor temperature as a matching water temperature (S102); detecting a current indoor temperature of a user (S103); and according to the current indoor temperature, preferentially setting a water temperature as the matching water temperature, and pushing patent information to the user (S104). By recording a water temperature most commonly used by a user at a specific indoor temperature, a water heater learns a usage habit of the user by itself, so that the user can preferentially use the water temperature to which he/she is most accustomed when taking a shower, and at the same time fully protects the benefits for the technology creator.
