Abstract:
Disclosed is a propylene direct oxidation reaction catalyst enabling propylene oxide to be prepared from propylene and oxygen in a yield higher than that of a catalyst prepared by a conventional method, by applying a specific transition metal oxide promoter in the preparation, through a slurry method, of a catalyst comprising silver, a transition metal oxide promoter, and a support. The present invention provides, as a supported silver catalyst for preparing propylene oxide through a propylene direction oxidation reaction, the propylene direct oxidation reaction catalyst comprising, as a catalyst promoter, molybdenum oxide and tungsten oxide.
