Abstract:
Novel prostacyclines represented by the formula (I), wherein ---- between 2- and 3-positions represents that the bond between these positions is a single or double bond, G represents -CO2R5 or -CONR6R7, wherein R5 represents H, C1-C10 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted alicyclic group, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl-(C1-C2) alkyl group, tri(C1-C10)hydrocarbyl-silyl group or an equivalent cation, R6 and R7 are the same or different and each represents H, C1-C10 alkyl or, when combined together, they represent a 5- or 6-membered, substituted or unsubstituted ring together with the adjacent nitrogen atom optionally containing further hetero atom(s), R1 represents H or methyl, R2 represents unsubstituted C3-C8 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted alicylic group, or substituted C1-C5 alkyl group substituted by optionally substituted phenyl, phenoxy, C1-C6 alkoxy or C5-C6 cycloalkyl, R3 and R4 are the same or different and each represents H, C2-C7 acyl, tri(C1-C7)hydrocarbyl-silyl, or a group forming an acetal bond together with the oxygen atom of OH. The compounds exhibit excellent pharmacological effects such as blood platelet enticoagulating effect, thus being useful as thrombosis-treating agents, arteriosclerosis-treating agents, etc.
