Abstract:
Provided is a protect sheet with which an electronic passport holding a flexibility and having a high tensile strength in a machine stitched part can be produced. A protect sheet (10) composed of at least four layers, said protect sheet being provided with a mat-finished paper (11) having been mat-finished at least on one surface, an adhesive layer (13) comprising a hot melt adhesive or a hot melt adhesive sheet, and a woven fabric (15) configured of a polymer fiber, wherein: the mat-finished paper (11) has a thickness of 50-100 μm; the adhesive layer (13) has a thickness of 20-60 μm; the woven fabric (15) is configured of at least one kind of polymer fiber selected from the group consisting of polyester, polyamide and aramid and has a thickness of 40-100 μm; and the total thickness of the protect sheet (10) is not more than 200 μm.
