Title:
PROTECTING-GROUP INTRODUCING AGENT FOR HYDROXY GROUP AND/OR MERCAPTO GROUP
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/056448
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a novel protecting-group introducing agent for a hydroxy group and/or a mercapto group that can be introduced and removed under mild conditions. This protecting-group introducing agent, which protects a hydroxy group and/or a mercapto group contained in a substrate compound, is represented by formula (I). (In the formula, A represents a ring structure having 1–5 rings and containing two carbon atoms of the adjacent benzene ring, wherein said ring structure comprises 5-member or 6-member ring(s) that are substituted or unsubstituted and may be heterocyclic; R1, R2, R3, and R4 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched-chain C1–5 alkyl group; and X represents a halogen atom or OSO2R5 (R5 represents an aryl group or an alkyl group).)
