Abstract:

Some embodiments of the present application provide a protection circuit and a battery management system. In some embodiments of the present application, the protection circuit comprises a first protection module and a freewheel module; the first protection module is connected in parallel to a first switch module of a main loop of the battery management system, and the freewheel module is connected in parallel to a load module of the main loop of the battery management system, the first switch module being a switch tube; the first protection module is switched to a charging state when the first switch module is disconnected, so as to stabilize the voltage across a first end of the first switch module and a second end of the first switch module; and the freewheel module is conducted when the first switch module is disconnected, so as to stabilize the voltage across the first switch module and a second switch module of the main loop of the battery management system. The protection circuit reduces the risk of breakdown of the first switch module, and also avoids the limitation of parasitic inductance on the switching frequency of the first switch module.
