Abstract:
The present invention relates to a protection coil and a transformer using the same, and according to an embodiment of the present invention, the protection coil comprises: a coil made of a plate-shaped metal and having a first terminal and a second terminal; an upper coil shielding means made of a nonflexible plate-shaped insulating material, and located on the upper part of the coil; and a lower coil shielding means made of a nonflexible plate-shaped insulating material, and located on the lower part of the coil, wherein the upper and lower coil shielding means shield parts excluding the first terminal and the second terminal of the coil, thereby implementing high insulation pressure resistance properties and low leakage inductance properties.
