Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a protection control system which is capable of reliably updating a program without shutting down a power grid and without requiring an operator to carry out the program update. The protection control device 1 is provided with an update permission unit 1c which carries out a determination of whether to permit an update of a program from a management server 3 and an update processing unit 1d which receives the program for updating and carries out the update of the program. A management server 3 is provided with an update assessment unit 3c which assesses whether the supplied update program is a program which updates a program of a prescribed protection control device 1, a transmission unit 3b which transmits an update notification to the protection control device 1 in which the program to be updated is installed, and a receiving unit 3a which receives a response to the update notification from the protection control device.
