Abstract:
Disclosed is: a protection device for a gas welding torch head, wherein a light transmission member can be readily coupled to or separated from a torch head and the angle thereof can be controlled, thereby improving welding work efficiency; and a manufacturing method therefor. A protection device for a gas welding torch head comprises: a support member having an insertion hole into which one part of a torch can be inserted, and elastically supported and fixed on the outside surface of the torch; and a light transmission member made from a light transmission material and coupled to the support member. Therefore, the light transmission member can be readily coupled to or separated from the torch, the angle of the light transmission member can be controlled, thereby improving welding work efficiency, and the manufacturing method therefor is simple, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.
