Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a protection device and method of an automatic station guardrail fork port in a production workshop. The protection device comprises: height-adjustable baffle units respectively arranged at two fork port positions on a guardrail; each height-adjustable baffle unit comprises two guide rods which are opposite to each other; a baffle is connected between the two guide rods; an elastic member is arranged on each guide rod; the baffle can compress the elastic members and move downwards when subjected to a downward pressure, and the baffle is reset under the elastic effect of the elastic members when the pressure disappears. According to the present invention, a height-adjustable baffle is arranged at a fork port position on a guardrail, so that the normal work of a fork is not affected, and a protection effect can also be achieved when the forklift does not work. The cost is low, the installation is convenient, the production requirements are met, the safety requirements are met, and the practical value is high.
