Title:
PROTECTION STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/154854
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a protection structure that is provided with: a base; an advancing and retracting member that advances and retracts with respect to the base; and a boot that covers an extended region of the advancing and retracting member that is extended from the base. The boot has: an expansion and contraction section; and a movement restriction section that is connected via a connection part that is provided at one end of the expansion and contraction section. The expansion and contraction section has a fixed part that is provided at the opposite end from the connection part. The movement restriction section has an engagement part that is provided at the opposite end from the connection part. The engagement part is engaged with a part to be engaged that is provided at a distal end of the advancing and retracting member that is extended from the base. The fixed part is fixed to the base. The expansion and contraction section has a bulging section that bulges out in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the advancing and retracting member. When the advancing and retracting member retracts, the movement restriction section uses the rigid protection structure, which restricts relative movement of the connection part toward the distal end of the advancing and retracting member, thereby making it possible to fix the boot without using caulking.
