Abstract:
[Problem]
To provide a protective bearing, a bearing device, and a vacuum pump, for which the rotation of a touchdown bearing in conjunction with the rotation of a rotor while the rotor is lifted and supported in a noncontact manner is prevented.
[Solution]
Slits (215) are cut in the radial direction at four locations on the inside of a stationary member (211). Permanent magnets (217) having the same polarity are fastened two-by-two to the upper surface of each of the four regions defined by the slits (215). A protruding part (211a) which faces downward is formed circumferentially at the inner edge of the stationary member (211). Attractive force is generated between an outer ring (201) and an inner ring (203). Attractive force also is generated between the inner ring (203) and the protruding pat (211a) provided in a protruding manner on the inside of the stationary member (211). Thus, the holding torque is large even if rotational torque is applied to the inner ring (203) of the touchdown bearing (200) when a rotary body (103) is rotating, so co-rotation does not occur.
