Abstract:
Protective cap, for tubes of glue, silicone and the like, of the type designed to prevent contact between the product and the air once the tube has been opened, characterized in that it consists of a body that has a hollow, conical shape with a perimeter flange at its base; in that said body is relatively thin and flexible and is preferably made from rubber or a material with similar elastic properties, the perimeter flange being substantially thicker and stiffer, and suitable for being secured correctly to the tube opening, the dimensions of its base length and width being suitable for receiving, tightly but with sufficient tolerance, the opening of the tube for which it is intended.
