Title:
PROTECTIVE CASE FOR TOOTHBRUSH
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/042651
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a protective case for a toothbrush that is capable of retaining effects of maintaining and straightening bristles of toothbrushes of various widths for a prolonged period of time. In a protective case (1) for a toothbrush which is the means for solving this problem, a slide piece (123) provided in a movable wall member (12) fits into and slides on a slide groove (131) provided in a bottom face member (13) in a width direction so that a spaced distance between a fixed wall (111) and a movable wall (121) can be adjusted with the fixed wall (111) and movable wall (121) opposing each other. In doing so, comb-like frictional engagement members (112) and (122) engage with each other and due to the frictional force generated between frictional surfaces thereof, a brush part of the toothbrush can be retained by being held securely by the fixed wall (111) and movable wall (121). In addition, since the frictional engagement member (122) slides in a longitudinal direction in engagement with the frictional engagement member (112), the brush part of the toothbrush can also be retained by being held securely from both sides in the longitudinal direction by sliding the frictional engagement member (122) in the direction of a front wall (141).
