Abstract:
This protective element includes: a fuse element; an insulating case (10) housing the fuse element; a first terminal (91); a second terminal (92); a first insulating member and a second insulating member that are arranged in proximity to or in contact with the fuse element; a shielding member (20) that divides the fuse element; a pressing means (30) that presses the shielding member (20); locking members that suppress the movement of the shielding member (20), heat-generating bodies (80A, 80B) that heat and soften the locking members; and power supply members (90a, 90b) that supply a current to the heat-generating bodies (80A, 80B). The insulating case (10) further houses: the first insulating member; the second insulating member; the shielding member (20); the pressing means (30); the locking members; the heat-generating bodies (80A, 80B); and part of the power supply members (90a, 90b).
