Abstract:
A protective film and a method for peeling a release layer thereof, related to the technical field of electronic device films. The protective film (10) has a lead tab (4) connected to an end part of the release layer (3), thus facilitating the peeling of the release layer (3) from the protective film (1), allowing smooth peeling, and increasing efficiency. Moreover, a positioning mechanism (21) is provided on a protective layer (2) of the protective film so as to align a protective film sheet (1) with a screen of an electronic device. Used in tandem with a film-applying machine, the protective film provides highly precise film application and great film application effects. The method for peeling the release film of the protective film employs the positioning apparatus (20) to position the protective film (10), a peeling apparatus (30) peels the lead tab (4) from the protective film (10) then moves relative to the protective film (10) so as to peel the release layer (3) from the protective film sheet (1), the process of peeling the release layer (3) is smooth and highly efficient, thus further increasing the efficiency and quality of film application.
